LIFESPAN OF NITI ROTARY FILES WITH 360°ROTATION AND RECIPROCATING MOTION

Objective:
 To assess the life of two different rotary nickel-titanium (NiTi) instruments in curved canals with complete protocol, by using 360°rotation motion and reciprocating motion.
 Materials Methods:
 About one hundred seventy extracted maxillary mandibular molars were taken from which root selected randomly divided 2 groups, for analyzing number uses files. One prepared Hyflex EDM 25/~ (coltene) 360°continuous Reciproc R25 (VDW) to full working length. file was used prepare until fractured. Every coated 17% EDTA copious irrigation 2.5% NaOCl done. t-test analyze data.
 Results:
 A total 7 10 files 200 canals, 100 each file. The average 13±1.50 9±1.59 canals. Among maximum 15 among 13. There a statistically significant difference between groups (p < 0.001).
 Conclusion:
 EDM25/~ can safely 13 9 respectively length if protocol is followed.
